Set in the beautiful Transylvanian village of Cund located just 40 min from Targu Mures and Sighișoara alike, we have created in the last 15 years an immersive village development project by restoring old Saxon farmhouses and developing an exemplary sustainable tourism business.
Whilst we focussed on preserving the authentic rural charm of our village setting, we created a comfortable and cozy setting to curate memorable experiences for our guests.
True to the concept of the “Albergo Diffuso”, all rooms and houses are located throughout the small village and are within walking distance of the restaurant. The rooms and houses all feature custom made wooden furniture, cozy armchairs and premium “Marriott” bedding and matraces.
Excellent high speed internet, work desks as well as tea and coffee making facilities provide great remote work conditions – and, if needed, one can also use our large conferencing facilities.
Our award winning restaurant is featured in the “Gault Millau” guide with one bonnet and serves delicious dishes based on the best of local produce. Our well stocked wine cellar is featuring a large selection of Romanian and international wines.
Led by the German couple who founded “Valea Verde” in 2007, the all local team takes pride in spoiling guests with their very personal approach to hospitality and service.
