At Valea Verde, we have created a concept of gentle and friendly tourism, which invites peace and reconnection in nature. Walks through the village of Cund, wine tasting sessions, yoga programs, brunch served in the Observatory in the middle of the forest, workshops with traditional craftsmen such as weavers, blacksmiths, and carpenters, truffle hunting are some of the activities you will enjoy. we propose a relaxing stay in the heart of Transylvania.
And for this spring, we propose you “pull the brakes”, to reconnect with yourself and the present and rediscover yourself in a retreat of mindfulness.
Why mindfulness?
Because this practice is the definition of bringing in the present. It’s about “here and now”, “how I feel now” and conscious decisions.
Mindfulness helps us to connect to our bodies and to respond consciously to external stimuli. It helps us to be in control and enjoy the much-desired inner peace.
One of the hallmarks of this practice is that we can educate our brains to receive information exactly as it is, without judging or labeling it. We can become equidistant, neutral: a “neutral witness” to everything that happens to us and all external stimuli. And, most importantly, make objective decisions and get out of autopilot.
What other benefits can the practice of mindfulness bring you?
- You can increase your ability to cope with everyday stress;
- it brings you more energy and enthusiasm for life;
- helps you lower your fatigue, chronic stress, anxiety, or irritability;
- You will improve your ability to regulate your emotions and develop your emotional intelligence
As Thich Nhat Hanh – Moments of Mindfulness put it, “Peace is all around us and within us. Once we learn to reach this peace, we will be healed and transformed. It’s not a matter of faith, it’s a matter of practice. ”
Through mindfulness, we train our body and brain to be at peace!
We invite you to a mindfulness weekend retreat on May 19-23.
Join our group in the picturesque nature of Transylvania and discover what a set of scientifically researched, mindfulness-based practices can bring to your daily life. We will start and end the days with mindfulness sessions, and between them, you can enjoy the wonders of the Green Valley, including carefully thought-out meals prepared from local ingredients, nature walks, or truffle hunting.
