We warmly invite you to this weekend dedicated to the beautiful celebration of Palm Sunday, which we will enjoy together with you, our guests, in the Transylvanian Wilderness and mark in many meaningful and joyful ways during the course of this special weekend!
We will welcome you on Friday evening with a special three course dinner featuring local trout and traditional Romanian recipes inspired by the Palm Sunday celebration.
On Saturday we will prepare a delicious breakfast for you and then leave for a guided walk through the awakening spring landscape, gathering wild herbs and flowers along the way. In the forest, we’ll come across young nettles, wild garlic, forest salad, and other spring greens that everyone enjoys — all of which will inspire the dishes we prepare later.
In the evening Chef Jonas Schäfer will serve a five course tasting menu celebrating the flavors of spring, honoring both the spirit of Palm Sunday and the bounty of the land.
We will end the evening in front of a great roaring bonfire with a local Palinka…
After a relaxed breakfast on Sunday it’s time to say goodbye, or you can choose to stay on another day or so!
